LUKE 23:32–34
He experienced deep pain and anger after a friend betrayed him, leading him to question his ability to forgive. Despite forgiving, he still felt hurt and resentment. One day, God answered his prayers and allowed him to let go completely and finally be free.
Jesus extended forgiveness during His death on the cross. He showed grace and love to those who wronged Him, demonstrating that forgiveness is central to the Christian faith.
This is a time to consider the need for forgiveness and follow Jesus’s example. We can forgive those who hurt us, even if it takes time, and free ourselves from the prison of unforgiveness.
🙏Lord Jesus Christ, help us to forgive so that your love will set us free.
