ROMANS 5:5
Valentine’s Day is a time to acknowledge the love God has shown us. While we know God cares for us, we may not always feel it. The Bible promises that nothing can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:38–39), but this is not always the case. It is important to understand how this love manifests in our daily lives and how it feels.
There is a saying that the distance from the head to the heart is the longest in the world.
God’s love can be written on our hearts as well as in our heads, releasing faith and transforming us from the inside out. Like the disciples on the Emmaus Road, our hearts come alive when the Lord explains Scripture to us (Luke 24:32).
