LUKE 2:8–14
On the final day of a Christian publishing conference in Singapore, over 200 participants from 50 countries gathered for a group photo. After many photographs were taken, a voice from the crowd shouted with relief, “Well, joy to the world! Another person responded, “The Lord is come,” showcasing unity and joy. The entire group sang the familiar carol in harmony, creating a moving display of unity.
Luke’s Christmas story recounts an angel’s announcement of Jesus’ birth to shepherds, bringing joy and salvation to the people.
It was a collective joy, not limited to a select few.
We join the global chorus in declaring “the glories of His righteousness and wonders of His love” as we share the transformative gospel of Jesus with others.
Everyone can rejoice in the joyful news of Jesus’ birth.
“Joy to the world, the Lord is come!”
