MATTHEW 7:12–23; JOHN 14:6
Many scholars have urged religions to unite, citing the shared belief in the Golden Rule. They emphasise the importance of creating a peaceful, harmonious global society where people of all faiths can live together.
In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus emphasised the Golden Rule, which involves doing what you would have them do to you and loving your enemies. These commands promote peace and harmony. However, Jesus also warned against false prophets, whom he described as ferocious wolves.
Respect for others and discernment of the truth are interconnected. If we have the truth, we have a message worth telling. God allows everyone the freedom to choose or reject Him. Our responsibility is to present the truth lovingly and respect others’ personal choices. Respect is crucial for winning others’ respect and conveying the message of Jesus, who said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Love the truth; love the people.
