Life’s challenges, such as job search, loneliness, and cancer battle, can be intensified by the feeling of unendingness, making them even more challenging when we wonder if they will ever end.
The psalmist, David, cried out for help during a long period of trial, which is believed to be the time when he was pursued by Saul and slandered by the king’s advisors. Despite the trials, David sang, demonstrating a deep trust in God that can be experienced in our own trials, hardships, or losses.
🙏 As time drags on and answers seem far away, teach us, Father, to find our help in You and Your presence. Enable us to endure, and empower us to trust in You.
