EXODUS 2:11-22; ECCLESIASTES 3:1
Life’s seasons call for us to occasionally enter a state of hibernation. Even though we are not dead, we could feel invisible. We may feel useless and question if God will ever use us again during such times. But times like this are for our defense and planning. God will summon us to worship and service once more when the timing is appropriate and the environment is secure.
This time period was experienced by Moses. He was forced to flee for his life to the far-off kingdom of the Midianites after slaying an Egyptian who hurt a fellow Hebrew (Exodus 2:1–22). God provided for him there and helped him get ready for the most important task of his life (3:10).
So take heart. God never considers us to be invisible.
🎶: Saviour, like a shepherd lead us,
Much we need Thy tender care;
In Thy pleasant pastures feed us,
For our use Thy folds prepare…
