PSALM 147:1-9
According to science, stars are created within the dust clouds that are scattered throughout the galaxies. The Orion Nebula is a well-known example of a dust cloud.
It is also believed that there are approximately 200 billion trillion stars in the universe. It is impossible to count them, because there are infinite stars in the universe.
The Bible exalts God, who counts the number of the stars and calls each one by name, for His overwhelming might and limitless wisdom (Psalm 147:4). But the universe’s creator is a loving heavenly Father who genuinely cares about His people, not some distant, heartless entity.
Because He cares about us so deeply, He sent His own Son to die so that we can be saved (John 3:16).
The Prince of Glory is still executing His plan on Earth, which British author J. B. Phillips referred to as “the visited planet.”
The merciful love of God, who knows the names of each star, is where we find hope for today and forever.
🙏Lord, You know not only the name of every star, but all our names. Thank You for remembering us.
