MY NEIGHBOUR ON THE FENCE

ACTS 2:41-47

How would you feel if your neighbour stood or sat on the fence separating your compound from his or hers, staring into yours? I am not sure I will be comfortable watching my neighbour on the fence.

While there are some justifiable reasons for physical fences, they tend to isolate us from our neighbours.

As Christians, we are to form bonds with one another and encourage one another in our spiritual journeys. The early church met at the temple on a daily basis (Acts 2:44, 46). As they fellowshiped and prayed, they became one in purpose and heart. They had companions to help them if they struggled (see Eccl. 4:10).

In our Christian journey, we need to be connected to a community of believers. Relationships are one method that God chooses to convey His love to us.

We all require Christian fellowship to strengthen and sustain us.

🙏🏼 Lord, bind us together.
