NO LOST LETTERS

MATTHEW 7:7-8

One of the longest postal delays in history lasted for eighty-nine years. In 2008, Janet Barrett, a guesthouse owner in Weymouth, Dorset, UK, received the letter mailed to a former resident of her address – an RSVP to a Boxing Day party invitation, which was posted on 29 November 1919. The reason behind its long delay remains a mystery.

The best human efforts at communication (even modern day communication) may sometimes let us down, but the Scripture is clear that God never fails to hear His faithful people.

The prayers we make may not always receive immediate answers, but we can be sure that God hears them. He will answer every prayer in His own perfect timing, wisdom and way. There are no lost letters in heaven.
