Whose wisdom, insights, or opinions do you listen to the most?
Jesus used the image of building a house on a faulty foundation to explain the danger of building our lives on just any word or idea. Many families have fallen apart because of this and many lives have been shattered too.
If we base our life on any foundation other than humble obedience to God’s truth, we are inviting trouble. If it does not turn up now, it will definitely do so on a future date.
Doing what God says is the only way to have a house, a life, built on rock. And one that can stand the test of time.
