JOHN 3:16
Watch the television or listen to the radio and you will notice what is emphasized by this world-system (food, sex, wealth, greed, ownership, etc.). Without Jesus and God’s inspired instructions and insights, we are left solely with mankind’s selfish interpretations and the lusts of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16-21)
Lovers of this world’s system are lovers who do not love. They are primarily selfish, even when they think they are loving. This does not surprise God. They do not live in Christmas love.
The love of Christmas is all about giving sacrificially for the benefit of others – God gave us His son. And as Jesus would say, I say to us today – “Go and do likewise” and we will have a better world.
