A CLEAN SLATE

PSALM 86:5

A clean slate implies a new start; especially to make a new start by clearing the record. This phrase comes from the use of chalk and slates in classrooms in the past. By wiping the slate clean, every evidence of a student’s mistake could be removed.

God loves us so much He sent His Son, Jesus to die in our place and to take the punishment for our wrong doings – even the ones that seem to be very serious.

He has made it possible through belief in His Son for our record of sins to be wiped away.

As we begin a new week, let us begin with clean slates.
