LIKE THE FIRE BRIGADE

PROVERBS 8:17; ISAIAH 55:6

Many people remember God easily in moments of crises. But when is it best to seek the Lord?

A deliberate acknowledgment of the presence of God at every moment will carry us far in bringing His will to pass in our lives rather than seeking Him during a crisis experience. The fabric of our lives is woven out of the threads of minor choices which we make from time to time, so it is wise to form the habit of being conscious of God while making them. This habit of taking God seriously minute by minute will make major challenges less traumatic.

Seeking God should not take a fire brigade approach – where the house is already burning and they have to rush to the scene at all cost. Let us start now to seek Him.
