JOHN 3:16.
Life is a journey. We are all going somewhere. It feels good when we are happy, healthy, things are going well and we are at the top of our games. But life also brings disappointments and pain. It could be a marriage that did not work out, the loss of a loved one, or failing to live up to our own expectations. We spend our days pursuing “perfection” – in work, in body and in life. We get caught up in becoming the best version of ourselves.
We all struggle to find light in those dark places. The question is: how do we find it? And even when we figure it out and get the life we want, we have to know it does not last forever. Life is a vapour and our journey has a destination.
We were all born separated from God. No matter how good we try to be, we all miss the mark. We all sin. God loves us and wants to be with us. But, God is holy and He cannot stand sin. Thankfully, He made a way through Jesus Christ for us to come to Him. Have we found that Way, Truth and Life? Unless we have found Christ, we continue roaming unfulfilled in this endless circle called life. Confessing our sins and accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour is the only way to get out of the endless circle and add meaning to life.
