In a barn, a young couple had a baby without a mid-wife, much less a doctor. Not even a bed for the mother or child to lay comfortably on while giving birth or after birth.
The stench of animals was all over, representing a most unsanitary condition. Yet, this is the event for which people all around the world celebrate with much funfair. This was how the son of God Almighty was brought into the world.
It was not pleasant or entertaining, but this was Christmas.
