In December 1988, Benazir Bhutto stepped into history as the first female Prime Minister of Pakistan. Her journey was paved with years of exile, grief, and intense preparation. Yet, preparation alone did not cement her legacy. When the door of opportunity swung open, she had to choose action over fear.
In 1 Kings 1:31–37, David did not delay when Adonijah’s attempt to claim the throne threatened Solomon’s future. He immediately instructed his officials to anoint Solomon and proclaim him king. They acted without hesitation.
Is there something God has been urging you to do? Do not keep postponing it because you fear failure or lack perfect conditions. Pray, seek wise counsel where necessary and take the next step. You may not control tomorrow, but you can faithfully respond to God’s prompting today.
