1 KINGS 10:26–29
A farmer once trusted his strong fence to protect his crops, only to discover that a small opening allowed animals to enter. His experience reminds us that human preparations have limitations.
In today’s text, Solomon accumulated chariots and horses, symbols of military power and security. Yet Psalm 20:7 reminds us that true confidence must rest in the name of the Lord, not human strength.
We should make wise preparations against danger but never depend solely on our resources. God remains our ultimate source of security. Let us trust Him, live righteously and seek His guidance in every situation.
🙏 May the Lord be your fortress and shield, preserve you from danger, and strengthen your trust in Him always. Amen.
