JUDGES 7:3–8
In 2020, during the global shortage of essential medical supplies in hospitals, doctors often discovered that the simplest tools—when used correctly—saved the most lives. What seemed “insufficient” was sometimes exactly what was needed.
In Judges 7:3–8, God reduced Gideon’s army from over 30,000 to just 300 men. Yet God declared that through this small number, He would deliver Israel from the Midianites. Likewise, in Luke 5:5–7, Jesus told Peter to cast his net again after a night of failure, resulting in an overwhelming catch. Both accounts show that victory depends not on human strength but on obedience to God’s instruction.
When situations seem reduced or limited, God may be preparing to reveal His power. Trust His guidance, even when it defies logic. Obedience is the key to breakthrough.
