PHILIPPIANS 4:7
Numerous people lost their jobs several years ago during a major economic meltdown. Sadly, one of them was a dear friend. While there were uncertainties in his condition, he revealed in a message to me that he was at peace because he trusted that God would take care of him.
Because we know that our heavenly Father loves us and is concerned about our needs, believers in Jesus can find calm even in the face of uncertainty. With a spirit of gratitude and confidence in His ability to provide for our needs and grant us peace, we can entrust to Him all of our worries.
The peace of God is beyond our comprehension. As He watches over our hearts and minds, we are able to feel something that we cannot explain.
The assurance that the Lord loves us and is in charge gives us comfort. He is the only one who can calm our fears, give us hope, and make us feel at ease even when faced with difficulties and change.
🙏You are all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving, Heavenly Father. Help us to rest in the assurance of who You are even in the face of uncertainty.
