MATTHEW 2:1–12
When most village drums are beaten, their sounds goes across fields and forests, calling everyone, not just one clan. Emmanuel, God with us, is like that drum, announcing hope beyond familiar borders.
In Matthew 2, Jesus is revealed to the Gentiles through the Magi. Guided by a star, they journey far to honour a King not born among them. Scripture shows the Lord Jesus welcomed seekers from outside Israel.
God still walks our dusty roads and speaks in many cultures. He is with the forgotten, and those searching for truth. We are called to keep beating the drum of welcome.
