1 THESSALONIANS 4:13–18

In 1945, church bells rang across Europe to announce the end of World War II, signalling peace and reunion for millions. Paul describes an even greater announcement: the trumpet of God at Christ’s return. The passage vividly portrays believers—dead and living—caught up together to meet the Lord in the clouds.

This truth comforts us in grief and hardship. Death is not the end; it is the beginning of eternal fellowship. Paul assures us that we shall ever be with the Lord, a promise that strengthens hope and faith.

Let us live faithfully, knowing our labour in Christ is never wasted. The rapture is our blessed assurance of reunion and reward.

🙏 May Christ trumpet call find you ready and rejoicing.
