JOHN 10:7–16
A shepherd leads his sheep home at sunset, calling them with familiar sounds as they move through hills and paths, ensuring none is lost to danger or confusion along the way.
In John 10:7–16, Jesus declares Himself the Door of the sheep and the Good Shepherd. He contrasts His life-giving care with thieves who come to steal and destroy, promising salvation, protection and abundant life to all who enter through Him and hear His voice.
Believers must recognise and follow Christ’s voice above all distractions and false guidance. Staying close to Him brings spiritual safety, provision and eternal life, while wandering away leads to harm and loss.
