JOHN 14:8-17
During the Second World War, a young girl in London waved every morning at Buckingham Palace. One day, she discovered that King George VI was not only waving back from the window but was also visiting wounded soldiers and homeless families during the bombings. She realised the king’s true character was seen through his actions. Likewise, Philip wanted to see the Father, not knowing God’s nature was already revealed in Jesus.
In John 14:8-17, Jesus explains that whoever sees Him sees the Father. He reveals His perfect unity with God and promises the Holy Spirit to remain with believers. Through Christ, we truly know God’s love, truth, and presence.
Many seek God in signs and wonders, yet He is revealed through Jesus’ life and words. As we study Scripture and obey the Spirit, our relationship with God deepens daily.
