THE EMPTY HANDS OF FAITH

GALATIANS 3:1–9

A child receiving a gift does not earn it; he simply opens his hands and accepts it. The gift becomes his, not because of what he has done, but because it is freely given. God’s salvation is received in the same way.

In Galatians 3:1–9, Paul challenged the Galatian believers for abandoning faith and returning to reliance on the Law. He reminded them that God’s Spirit came to them through faith, not through works. Abraham himself was declared righteous because he believed God.

Many people still seek God’s approval through religious activities, traditions, or personal merit. While good works have their place, they cannot save. Our confidence must rest in Christ alone, whose sacrifice secured our redemption.

🙏May your faith remain steadfast, fruitful, and firmly rooted in Christ
