EXODUS 13:17–22
In 1912, the RMS Titanic sailed confidently on a direct route but met disaster, reminding us that the quickest path is not always the safest. God’s guidance often preserves us through delays.
God led Israel by a longer route, knowing they were unprepared for conflict. His presence remained with them as a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, guiding and protecting.
We are called to trust God’s wisdom when life feels slow or uncertain. His presence never leaves us. As we follow Him faithfully, He leads us safely and prepares us for what lies ahead.
