2 THESSALONIANS 1:8-12
A farmer once planted his field and patiently waited for harvest, knowing every seed would produce a result. Likewise, Christ will return, and our lives will reveal what we have sown. Are you ready for that day?
In 2 Thessalonians 1:8-12, Paul reminds us that Jesus will return in glory, bringing judgement and reward. Those who reject God will face separation from His presence, while believers are called to live worthy of their calling. Paul therefore prayed that God would fulfil every good purpose in them.
Today, many prayers focus on money, promotion, marriage and success. These are legitimate needs, but we must also seek spiritual growth, holy living and the salvation of others. Let us live each day ready for Christ’s return, knowing that our eternal reward matters most.
