EXODUS 12:1–13
In many hospitals during emergency triage, patients are tagged so doctors know who needs urgent attention and who is already stable. That simple tag can determine life-saving action. In Exodus 12:1–13, God commanded Israel to apply the blood of a lamb on their doorposts as a divine mark of mercy and preservation.
This passage reveals that salvation is by God’s provision, not human effort. The blood was the sign that turned judgement away. “When I see the blood, I will pass over you” (verse 13) shows that God Himself honours the covenant He provides.
Today, Christ is our Passover Lamb. Remain under His sacrifice by faith, and trust His blood for protection, forgiveness, and peace.
🙏 May the blood of the Lord Jesus speak mercy over your life. Amen.
