ZEPHANIAH 2:8–15
In 1989, the Berlin Wall fell unexpectedly, marking the collapse of a system once thought unshakeable. What seemed permanent crumbled within a short time, reminding the world that human power has limits.
In Zephaniah 2:8–15, God pronounced judgement on Moab, Ammon, Cush and Assyria. These nations mocked God’s people and trusted in their own strength, but the Lord declared that their pride would lead to destruction. Their cities would become desolate, showing that no enemy can stand against God’s verdict.
Christians may face hostility, intimidation or unfair treatment, but they must not lose heart. God remains sovereign over every situation. Trust Him, stay faithful, and remember that those who oppose His purposes will not triumph in the end.
