PLANTING SEEDS FOR GENERATIONS

2 TIMOTHY 1:3–7

Her name was Susanna Wesley, mother of John and Charles Wesley, founders of the Methodist movement. Living in 18th-century England, she raised ten children, teaching them Scripture daily at her kitchen table. Despite hardship, she was a woman of deep prayer and discipline, shaping the faith of her sons—whose ministry would go on to change the world.

Like Lois and Eunice in 2 Timothy 1:3–7, Susanna’s quiet faith laid a foundation that outlived her. Her legacy reminds us that God often works through faithful parents and grandparents, planting seeds of truth that bear fruit in generations to come.

I pray we follow her example—trusting that our prayers and faithful living today will shape the Church of tomorrow.

🙏 May God use your life as a legacy for His glory and the enrichment of others, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
