LUKE 10:38-42
The world is constantly coercing us to be more like Martha than Mary. Many people are being convinced that the path to happiness and impact is the path of more – more work, more commitments, more money, more friends, etc. But Jesus offers us a better, simpler, healthier way. He offers us the path of less but better.
In a world full of Marthas, we need to allow Jesus’s words, just like Mary did, to permeate every aspect of our lives, especially our work. Instead of scattering our gifts and energy in a so many directions, let us seek the one thing we believe the Father has given us to do and master it for His glory and the good of others.
