2 CORINTHIANS 4:16-18
Fanny Crosby, also known as Frances Jane van Alstyne, was an American poet, lyricist, and composer. Despite losing her sight as a child, she went on to become a prolific hymn writer, penning over 8,000 hymns and gospel songs that have sold over 100 million copies. She is also well-known for her work as a teacher and in rescue missions. She had become a household name by the end of the nineteenth century.
Some people expressed sympathy for Fanny. She, on the other hand, had an eternal view on life. In the light of eternity, our problems appear differently.
In this life, Christ-followers will face hardships and tribulations. Christian service, like any other endeavour, is subject to the rigours of criticism, resistance, and disappointment.
When we remember that one glorious day, we will see Jesus, all of our troubles fade away!
The way we view eternity will affect how we live in the present.
🙏🏼Our challenges, no matter how difficult, will disappear from view when we see You face to face. Thank You Jesus!
