GRATITUDE THAT LIFTS THE SOUL

EXODUS 15:19–21

After surviving a plane crash in 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 emergency landing, passengers were seen embracing and giving thanks on the riverbank. Relief naturally turned to gratitude. In the same way, when God brings us through life’s crises, our hearts are stirred to respond.

Israel rejoiced after God defeated Pharaoh’s army in the sea. Miriam led the women with song and dance, proclaiming God’s glorious victory. Their praise is a united response to divine deliverance.

We, too, experience moments of rescue—seen and unseen. Yet gratitude can fade quickly. This passage urges us to intentionally remember and praise God. When we do, our faith deepens, and we gain strength for future challenges, anchored in the certainty of His unfailing power.

🙏 May your heart remain grateful and your voice full of praise in Jesus’ name. Amen.
