ROMANS 12:9–21
Diane, a Christian, silently asked for prayers for her family member struggling with addiction. She felt it was better to leave the request unspoken. However, she had trusted friends pray with her, asking God to set her loved one free from addiction and provide her with peace and patience. Through prayer, Diane found comfort and strength in her relationship with Jesus.
Many of us pray fervently and consistently, but it seems like our petitions are not heard. However, we can be confident that God is concerned and hears all of our prayers. He exhorts us to remain joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12) and to walk closely with Him. We can rely on Him.
