EXODUS 13:11–16
In 1904, during the Welsh Revival, many miners gave their first wages to God. Despite hardship, they trusted Him—and communities saw remarkable transformation. Their sacrifice showed that honouring God first is an act of deep faith.
God commanded Israel to dedicate every firstborn to Him. This act reminded them of His deliverance from Egypt, where He spared their firstborn. It was a covenant sign, teaching them that all they had came from God.
Today, honouring God means placing Him first in our lives and resources. When we give Him priority, we show trust in His provision and experience His faithfulness.
