1 KINGS 1:11-21
A farmer once planted seeds but dug them up repeatedly to check whether they were growing. His impatience ruined the harvest. In the same way, rushing ahead of God’s timing can destroy what patience would have produced.
In 1 Kings 1:11-21, Adonijah declared himself king without David’s approval. Nathan and Bathsheba approached David, reminding him of his promise that Solomon would succeed him. Adonijah’s attempt to bypass proper authority exposed the danger of pursuing position without due process.
Today, do not force doors God has not opened. Seek His guidance, respect rightful authority and wait for the proper time. Isaiah 28:16 reminds us that whoever believes will not act hastily. Patience is not weakness; it is trust in God’s timing.
🙏May God guide your steps, grant you patience, and lead you into His perfect timing.
