EVERYTHING HAS A SEASON

ECCLESIASTES 3:1-8

Nigeria’s climate changes depending on the period. It also relies heavily on the location at the time. All of these result in different seasons, which mirror the climatic conditions at the time. There are two major seasons in the country: wet and dry. These seasons are frequently associated with specific weather conditions.

Everything has a season, according to the author of Ecclesiastes. He then goes on to enumerate some of the seasons that people go through in their lives: birth and death, gain and loss, weeping and laughter, sorrow and rejoicing. The seasons in our lives change just like the seasons in nature. Our conditions never remain static.

Change may be accepted in our lives. But sometimes it’s not easy, especially when there’s sadness and loss involved. Even then, we can be grateful that God never changes (Malachi 3:6).

We can rely on God during the changing seasons of life since He remains the same.

During seasons of change, God’s unchanging nature provides us with security.

🙏🏼 Thank you Lord, for being our shelter, a never-failing bulwark.
