DRAW NEAR TO GOD

LUKE 9:28–36

John Wesley’s famous conversion occurred on May 24, 1738, at a religious society meeting on Aldersgate Street in London. While listening to someone read Martin Luther’s Preface to the Epistle to the Romans, Wesley experienced a profound spiritual awakening.

In Luke 9:28–36, Jesus took Peter, James and John up the mountain to pray. As He prayed, His appearance was transfigured, and Moses and Elijah appeared with Him. Then the Father declared, “This is my beloved Son: hear him.”

God still honours those who seek Him. Spend time in prayer, listen to Christ above every other voice, and let His presence transform your heart and daily conduct.

🙏 May God’s presence renew, uphold, and direct your steps every single day.
