MATTHEW 28:16-17; LUKE 24:37-43
Matthew 28:17 says “some doubted” – this is more than just one person.
In Luke 24:37-43, Jesus showed the disciples His hands and feet, and also asked for meat to eat before them so they could believe.
How come then that we usually focus on the doubt of Thomas? Like the disciples, many of us still have doubts today.
Doubt is our greatest obstacle in trusting God’s plan and provision for our lives. We allow doubt to wash over us like ocean waves, clouding our vision and distancing us from the safety of shore. But Jesus is our anchor in a sea of doubt. The same way He cleared the doubts of His early disciples, He wants to clear our doubts too.
