DON’T WASTE YOUR TALENT

MATTHEW 25:14–30

When William Kamkwamba of Malawi was 14 years old, a severe famine forced him to drop out of school because his family could no longer afford the fees. While visiting a local library, he found a science book called Using Energy that featured a picture of a wind turbine. He used discarded bicycle parts and scrap materials to build a wind turbine that brought electricity and water to his community. His opportunity became fruitful because he acted on what he had.

In Matthew 25:14–30, Jesus tells of a master who entrusted three servants with different amounts of money. The first two put theirs to work and were commended for their faithfulness, while the third buried his and was condemned for doing nothing with what he received.

God has entrusted each of us with gifts, opportunities and resources. He does not expect us to compare ourselves with others, but to faithfully use what we have received. Do not bury your gift; put it to work for God’s glory.

🙏 May God bless the work of your hands, multiply your gifts, and make your life fruitful for His glory. Amen.
