MATTHEW 24:4–5, 23–27
A counterfeit note may look genuine at first glance, but careful examination reveals the difference. Jesus similarly warned His followers to beware of deception. Many would claim to be Christ or speak in His name, leading people astray.
In Matthew 24:4–5, 23–27, Jesus warns His disciples not to be deceived by false Christs and false claims about His coming. His return will not be hidden or confined to a secret location; like lightning visible across the sky, it will be unmistakable.
Therefore, know God’s Word and test every teaching against Scripture. Do not follow impressive personalities simply because they claim spiritual authority. Stay rooted in Christ, remain watchful and let God’s Word guide you in these confusing times.
