CLEAN HANDS, HOLY LIVES

1 THESSALONIANS 4:1–12

Before putting on his surgical gown and gloves, Dr James carefully scrubbed his hands for several minutes. A young intern asked why such care was needed. Smiling, the doctor replied, “A successful operation begins with clean hands.” In the same way, God desires hearts cleansed from sin before lives can truly honour Him.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:1–12, Paul teaches that sanctification is God’s will for every believer. Christians are to avoid sexual immorality, exercise self-control and live honourably, reflecting God’s holy character in their daily conduct.

Our walk with Christ requires deliberate choices to reject sin and pursue holiness. As we obey God’s Word, our lives become a testimony that glorifies Him and prepares us for Christ’s return.

🙏May you grow daily in holiness and remain faithful to the end. Amen.
