Love is not about what we want or need. It is about the Bigger Picture – reconciliation with the Father. It is why Jesus gave His utmost yet was targeted by haters. PHIL.2:3.
When Jesus described Himself as the Good Shepherd, He made it clear that He will lay down His life for us. JOHN 10:11-18.
In our weakness God is strong. His presence puts our problems in perspective and floods us with a sense of protection, peace, and power. ROMANS 8:1.
Thanking God for what He is doing in us, even though we cannot see it, brings hope. NUMBERS 6:24-26.
In our world, there are many imitators, but few true leaders. Unless people are following a greater example (God’s leadership), they are doomed to fail someday. EPHESIANS 5:1-2.
