As we face the days ahead, we need all the strength we can muster. Keep pressing forward! 1 COR.9:24.
I always tell people that I don’t believe in making New Year resolutions, but I encourage people to do so if they deem it necessary. I personally believe in commitments that cause revolutions.
As we match into days, weeks, months, and years ahead we need to get prepared for the race ahead.
Heb.12:1-2 – “… let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its
shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (NIV)
We run the race with purpose knowing we are destined for a crown of righteousness in eternity – a crown that we’ll throw at our Lord’s feet as we bow before Him….
