About Me

The Venerable Olufemi Ejiro Igbamerun is an Anglican Clergyman. He also goes by the names John and Oladapo (even though these names are not used officially). He is a native of Igbisin Oloto in Okitipupa L.G.A., Ondo State, Nigeria.

He had his primary education at the then Army Children School, G.R.A., Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. His secondary education took him to the Command Secondary School, Bori Camp, as one of the pioneer students of the school and the University of Port Harcourt Demonstration Secondary School (U.D.S.S. Uniport). He later attended the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt (then an affiliate institution of the University of Ibadan) and Paul’s University, Awka.

He was ordained on Christmas Eve, 1997. Although his home Diocese is the Anglican Diocese on the Coast, he has served in Churches within the Dioceses of Niger Delta North and Ogoni, and is presently in the Diocese of Evo, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion).

He is currently a priest at All Saints’ Cathedral, Rumuokwurusi, Diocese of Evo, and Performance Improvement Coordinator/Diocesan Education Board Member, Evo Diocesan Schools.

He has also served as:

Diocesan Chaplain of the Anglican Children’s Ministry of the Diocese of Evo from 2009 to 2022,

Head of Council and Director for Studies, Council for Clergy and Laity Continuing Education of the Diocese of Evo,

Clergy Welfare Association Secretary,

Vice Principal (Administration), Woji Town Word of Faith Group of Schools, Woji and

Vice Principal (Administration), Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls’ School, Elelenwo, Obio-Akpor, Rivers State, Nigeria.

He has a teaching and evangelical ministry that has been a blessing to many over the years. He is also a great lover of children, and has worked with the children’s ministry as a teacher for over three decades.

He is married to Mrs. Blessing Chiegonu Igbamerun and they are blessed with four biological children: Dapo (Jnr.), Temi, Dami and Tanto (double D, double T), as well as other foster children.
