LUKE 10:1–9
A young child in a crowded market recognises his father’s voice above the noise and runs towards him. Similarly, believers must learn to recognise God’s voice amid life’s distractions.
In Luke 10:1–9, Jesus sends out seventy-two disciples to proclaim God’s Kingdom, heal the sick and bring peace to the people. He instructs them to depend on God’s provision and faithfully fulfil their mission. Their obedience demonstrates the importance of following Christ’s instructions.
As Christians, we must listen to God through His Word and obey His guidance. Church leaders must serve with humility, integrity and compassion, caring for those entrusted to them. Let us follow Christ faithfully and lead others towards His truth.
🙏 May the True Shepherd guide your steps, strengthen your faith, and help you hear and obey His voice always. Amen.
