PHILIPPIANS 4:10–23
When a family faces hardship, the kindness of friends and neighbours can provide food, shelter and hope. Each contribution, however small, can help ease their burden. Similarly, when we support God’s work with our time, talents and resources, we become channels of His love and blessings to others.
In Philippians 4:10–23, Paul appreciates the Philippians for supporting his ministry. He explains that he has learnt contentment in every circumstance and assures them that God will supply all their needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (v. 19).
We should support God’s work willingly and faithfully, knowing that every sincere act of service matters. Whether we give our money, time or abilities, let us serve with joyful hearts and trust God for the outcome.
