ACTS 2:14–28
In 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. stood before thousands during the March on Washington despite threats and opposition. His courage inspired many because he believed deeply in his message. In the same way, the Holy Spirit transforms fearful people into bold witnesses for God.
In Acts 2:14–28, Peter, who once denied Jesus out of fear, boldly preached after receiving the Holy Spirit. Filled with divine power, he proclaimed Christ’s resurrection with confidence, and many were convicted and turned to God. The Spirit made his message powerful and effective.
Believers today still need the Holy Spirit’s strength to stand firm for Christ in a hostile world. When filled with the Spirit, fear gives way to courage, and our lives become effective witnesses for God.
