ACTS 1:9–260
In 1915, explorer Ernest Shackleton watched his ship, Endurance, become trapped and crushed by Antarctic ice. For months, he and his crew endured freezing conditions, hunger, and uncertainty. Instead of panicking, Shackleton patiently guided his men, making careful decisions that eventually brought every crew member safely home. In a similar way, after Jesus ascended, the disciples faced uncertainty and loss, yet they chose to wait prayerfully for God’s direction.
In Acts 1:9–26, the disciples obeyed Jesus’ command to wait for the Holy Spirit. Through prayer and wisdom, Matthias was chosen to replace Judas, showing their complete trust in God’s guidance.
Believers today must seek God before making decisions. Prayer and patience keep us aligned with His will and bring peace in uncertain times.
🙏May God guide, strengthen, and keep you faithful in every decision always.
