JOHN 16:12–24
During the Second World War, British citizens relied on radio broadcasts for accurate information amid fear and confusion. Trusted voices brought clarity when rumours spread everywhere. In the same way, God’s Spirit guides believers through the confusion of life.
In John 16:12–24, Jesus promised His disciples that the Holy Spirit would come after His departure. The Spirit of truth would teach them, reveal God’s will and glorify Christ. Though challenges awaited them, they would not be left without guidance.
Christians today must listen carefully to the Holy Spirit through prayer and Scripture. He gives wisdom, peace and direction, helping us remain faithful in a noisy and uncertain world.
