ECCLESIASTES 3
As I look back on my life from Tuesday, 20th April 1976 till today, I give thanks to God for fifty solid years of grace, mercy, and purpose.
I am reminded of Colonel Harland Sanders, founder and face of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)—a man who faced repeated setbacks, rejection, and lost opportunities, yet refused to quit. What eventually changed his life was not immediate success, but persistence in sharing his fried chicken recipe, even after being turned down hundreds of times. His story reminds us that failure is not final, and purpose can still unfold after many closed doors.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says God has made everything beautiful in His time. This assures us that every season—waiting, struggle, disappointment, and growth—has meaning within God’s perfect plan. Nothing in our journey is wasted when surrendered to Him.
So wherever you are today, do not despair or compare your timeline with others. Trust God’s timing, remain faithful in small steps, and keep using the gift in your hands. Your story is still unfolding, and it is never too late for God to bring beauty from it.
🙏 May the Lord guide your steps and fulfill His purpose in your life. Amen.
